Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We want Search Semantically to be a welcoming, harassment-free space for everyone learning or contributing, regardless of experience level, background, or identity.

Our standards

Examples of behavior that helps the community:

  • Being kind, patient, and respectful — especially toward beginners asking "basic" questions.
  • Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback.
  • Focusing on what is best for learners and the project.

Unacceptable behavior includes:

  • Harassment, insults, or derogatory comments.
  • Personal or political attacks.
  • Publishing others' private information without permission.
  • Any conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Scope

This applies within all project spaces (issues, pull requests, discussions) and when an individual is representing the project in public spaces.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive or unacceptable behavior may be reported to the maintainer via a GitHub issue or direct contact. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
